1. The Agreement
Welcome to Omiya Toys. By using our website (Omiya Toys) and placing an order, you (the customer) agree to the following terms. These rules ensure a transparent and professional relationship between our shop and our valued collectors. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time.
2. Ordering & Payment
- Currency Base: All product prices at Omiya Toys are established and calculated in Japanese Yen (JPY).
- Price Variations: Prices for our products are subject to change at any time without prior notice. We reserve the right to update product pricing based on market availability, supplier increases, or other economic factors. However, the price you pay at the moment of checkout is final for that specific order.
- Exchange Rate Policy: While we provide the option to pay in other currencies, the base value is always the Yen price. If you choose to pay in a currency other than JPY (especially for pre-orders), currency fluctuations are the responsibility of the customer.
- No Retroactive Adjustments: The price in Japanese Yen remains fixed once an order is placed. We do not adjust, refund, or credit any differences caused by changes in global exchange rates or subsequent store price updates between the time of your purchase and the release date.
- Payment Timing: Full payment is required at the time of order for both in-stock items and pre-orders to secure your items with our suppliers.
- Import Costs: You are the importer of record. Any local VAT, customs fees, or import duties are your responsibility and are not included in the store price.
3. No-Cancellation Policy
To provide a reliable service and secure stock from Japanese suppliers, we do not accept order cancellations once payment is confirmed.
- Manufacturer Delays: In the hobby industry, release dates frequently change. A delay by the manufacturer does not entitle a buyer to a refund or cancellation.
- Fulfillment: In the rare event that a manufacturer cancels a product or we cannot fulfill your order, a full refund will be issued immediately.
4. Shipping & Delivery
We ship directly from Japan using trusted carriers (Japan Post, DHL, FedEx, UPS).
- Processing: In-stock items ship within 3–5 business days. Pre-orders ship within 5 business days of the Japanese release.
- Liability: Once a package is marked as "Delivered" by the carrier, Omiya Toys is no longer responsible for the parcel. Please ensure your delivery location is secure.
- Failed Delivery: If a parcel is returned due to an incorrect address or failure to collect it, the buyer is responsible for the cost of re-shipping.
5. The 10-Day Quality Guarantee
We take pride in our service. If there is a problem with your order, the following conditions apply:
- Claim Window: Any issues (damaged items or incorrect products) must be reported within 10 days of the delivery date. Claims made after 10 days will not be accepted.
- Manufacturer Quality Control (QC): For paint flaws, missing parts inside a sealed box, or loose joints, the manufacturer is responsible. We will attempt to contact them on your behalf, but we cannot guarantee a specific outcome.
- Box Condition: The product packaging is designed to protect the figure inside. Dented or creased boxes are not considered product defects if the figure itself is intact.
- Evidence: For all claims, clear photos of the shipping box (before opening) and the item are required.
6. Returns
- Sealed Items Only: We only accept authorized returns for items in their original, factory-sealed packaging. If the seal or plastic wrap is broken, the item cannot be returned.
- Shipping Costs: Return shipping costs to Japan are paid by the buyer.
7. Governing Law
Omiya Toys is operated from Japan. Any disputes or legal matters will be handled exclusively under Japanese Law.
